Another infamous resident is the "White Lady," believed to be the ghost of Lady Mary Berkeley. This tragic figure is said to have died of a broken heart after her true love was executed for treason. Her spirit wanders the castle, donning a white gown and emitting a ghostly glow. Those who have encountered her often report feelings of melancholy and a deep sense of sorrow.
